It is weird how writing romance actually makes me deeply uncomfortable--not like "ew, mushy stuff", but "augh, is this too cheesy, does this work, oh god I don't know what I'm doing", which is admittedly the sort of thing that happens when writing any subject but romance in particular is where it hits for me.
